Find All Four Artifacts – Locations and Stats

There are currently four reusable artifacts to obtain in The Last Caretaker: the Oath Token, A Future without Him, Dolly and Anna Echo. This guide explains where to find them, what you need first and which stats they contribute to human reconstruction.

The acquisition steps are based on my own playthrough. The attribute values and weights have also been checked against the extracted game data.

Oath Token: solve the statue puzzle

The Oath Token takes some preparation. First, visit the three tall rocky spires with the large statues:

• The Spire of Exodus
• The Spire of Industry
• The Spire of Command

Slightly below the top of each spire, you will find a cave. Blast open each entrance using two O2 Big Explosives and scan the statue inside. That means six O2 Big Explosives in total for all three entrances.

With all three scans collected, head to The Forth Chamber. Fabricate the scanned statues and place them on the pedestals in front of the gate.

The correct order from left to right is:

1. Augustus of Prima Porta
2. Moses
3. Vulcan, God of the Forge

Connect the power supply once the statues are in the right places. You can then open the gate. The Oath Token is behind it, ready to pick up.

A Future without Him: find Aron’s room

The second artifact is part of Memory for Aron. The quest does not start at the intake station: it begins through the PECO game Rising Tide.

1. Get a Rising Tide cartridge and play it at a PECO terminal until you reach at least 300 points.
2. Open page 11 in the INFO section.
3. Wait for the malfunction and the terminal reboot.
4. Open INFO page 11 again and wait for the voiceover to play.
5. Close the terminal. You now receive Memory for Aron.

The quest takes you to North Deep Intake Station. Follow it to Aron’s room, where you will find A Future without Him.

Dolly: complete the North Bastion quest chain

The third artifact is Dolly. To get it, you need to complete the North Bastion quest chain.

Travel to the new region through the Transfer Gate on the roof of Lazarus Complex. Follow the tasks to the end of North Bastion’s story. You receive Dolly as a reward. If you are already playing through Update 6, you will obtain this artifact as part of the story.

Unlike the other three artifacts, Dolly does not distribute its bonuses evenly. Its main strength is Empathy:

Anna Echo: return to Anna with the Oath Token

For Anna Echo, you need two things: the completed North Bastion quest chain and the Oath Token.

Retrieve the token from storage if you left it there, and take it to Anna’s hologram. When you return to Anna with the Oath Token, you receive Anna Echo.

This is easy to miss: the main quest chain is already complete at this point. Having Dolly alone does not mean you have collected all four artifacts.

Using the artifacts in the Lazarus Planner

All four artifacts are included in the Lazarus Planner. Use it to see how they fit your chosen profession and available materials.

Reusable means that the artifacts are not consumed during human reconstruction. You can use them again for further reconstructions.

The uniform bonuses from the Oath Token, A Future without Him and Anna Echo each apply to Adaptability, Communication, Creativity, Discipline, Empathy, Focus, Leadership, Logic, Patience and Wisdom. Dolly’s uneven distribution makes it especially worth checking the requirements of your chosen profession.

That gives you all four acquisition paths: statue puzzle → Oath Token, Aron quest → A Future without Him, North Bastion completion → Dolly, and return to Anna with the token → Anna Echo.
