Description
A hybrid born of the Amber and Azurite Lonebid, the Jasper Lonebid is a large caniform mammal that combines the strength of its kin with a more striking coloration. Its coat blends deep reddish-brown tones with lighter cream markings along the underside and spine, broken by pale streaks and spots that echo its Azurite parentage. The body is broad and muscular, with a sturdy frame carried on strong limbs ending in thick claws. The head is long and narrow, with the eyes being set right above its snout.
Behaviour
Lonebids display a curious temperament and are among the most perceptive animals, able to navigate even the most tangled environments with ease. Loyal by nature, they could be described as gentle giants, always eager to befriend others. However, their great size often makes smaller creatures wary, leaving Lonebids unusually friendly but often lonely. They thrive in cooler environments, preferring forests near open water sources, with caves as their favored shelter. Despite their imposing presence, they are approachable, dependable, and marked by a playful, good-natured disposition.

Building trust
- Cautious
A cautious Lonebid is already curious about you - it simply will not let you touch it yet. Bring it a Lonebid Snack, the only food it takes an interest in, and either hand it over or drop it nearby; both work at this stage.
- Neutral
It now lets you come close enough to reach. Petting builds trust faster than a Lonebid Snack does, so keep your hands on it whenever it settles.
- Warm
A warm Lonebid starts playing along instead of just watching. Copy what it does - crouch when it crouches, jump when it jumps; mimicry now earns trust many times faster than treats or touch.
- Friendly
A friendly Lonebid will follow you wherever you go. Keep it at your side and lead it back to a nest to make the bond permanent.

Artificial nest & breeding
After completing the animal research, you can build an artificial nest for this animal family and house animals that follow you there.
Bring together a male and female from the same family but different species in an artificial nest. Insert the matching family pheromone into the dispenser, then give the animals time and privacy.
Animal camera & research
- Place an animal camera near a natural animal nest.
- Wait until data collection is complete.
- This updates the behaviour and fauna information.
- The research provides the basis for this animal family’s artificial nest.
