Honeycomb: The World Beyond

On Sota7, exploration, survival and base building meet bioengineering and experiments with an alien world of plants and animals. The German-language Let's Play is now underway.

Explore first. Then keep what actually helps.

Honeycomb offers a large world with resources, biomes, research and bioengineering. At the start, though, playing comes first. Guides, knowledge and other tools are only added where they genuinely prove useful during the playthrough.

A world that may reward a closer look

Sota7 is more than a linear story. Resources, biomes, plants, animals and research systems invite experimentation and make it worth keeping track of how things connect. The large game world in particular could become interesting later if certain resources or locations prove difficult to find again.

It is still open whether that becomes a dedicated map, individual guides or simply a few useful notes. That decision will come from playing the game – not before.

More than gathering and building

One of Honeycomb's defining systems is bioengineering. Plants can be studied and their traits combined, while experiments with animal DNA can trigger new changes. How deep these systems actually go in normal play, and which information remains useful over time, will become clear during the Let's Play.

Now underway

The adventure on Sota7 begins

As the Let's Play continues, this area can grow with it. If topics emerge that genuinely benefit from a guide, an overview or perhaps even a dedicated map solution, they can find a place here.
